Animal Healing & Communication
Animals are sentient beings who have similar subtle bodies with all the same energetic mechanisms that humans do. Those of us who are animal lovers recognize that both pets and undomesticated animals have emotions. We can see how similar to us they really are. It only follows that if alternative energy healing modalities benefit us, they would benefit our pets and other animals.
Animals are extremely sensitive to energy. Any pet owner who has an animal who alerts them to approaching storms, earthquakes or other inclement weather has seen this for themself. We have also seen how effective animals can be as therapy companions to help alert owners to upcoming medical episodes as well as to alleviate anxiety or depressive episodes. Because of this sensitivity, animals are great energy healers themselves. It is also why energy therapies are highly effective with animals.
Whether it is an in-person or remote session, I utilize multiple modalities when I work with animals. After an interview with the animal’s person to determine the reason for the session and developing an intention for the session, I connect with the animal’s energy field. I often proxy, which simply means I go into the field and note sensations (e.g. pain, pressure, tingling, etc.) in their physical body. I then begin channeling healing energy to help address the issues I have identified. Just like with people, the animal’s higher self will pull whatever type of energy it deems most appropriate and helpful whether it be Reiki, Archangelic Light or Crystal healing energy. I will work to balance all of the animal’s energy centers and note any areas that I feel will need ongoing clearing or support. Before I close the connection with the animal, I will ask the animal if there is anything that it wants to share with their person or myself. Sometimes this will be provided telepathically and there are occasions where I’m guided to pull Pet Oracle cards for the animal. The session will conclude with an explanation about what I was shown and what healing took place. If I feel that it is beneficial, I will also create a crystal grid for the animal to activate for continued healing of ongoing issues.
